Join us on October 5 2019 for the 6th Annual Sacramento Century Challenge sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sacramento. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery Program.
Our CEO Bobby Reed signed up as a Challenge Champion and has pledged to sign up other riders to help fundraise for the event. As a Challenge Champion Bobby must raise a minimum of $350 to earn a free 2019 jersey and a refund of his paid registration.
A few CTS staff members have already signed up as part of Bobby’s Sacramento Century Challenge team and we are inviting you to join us as well! Last year three members of CTS participated and partnered up with The Sacramento Rotary Club in the fundraising event.
Bobby Reed had this to say about his experience at the event last year “It is a fun and very flat ride so all levels of folks can do it. I was able to pull my kids in the trailer behind me and they had a great time (although Isaac fell asleep!). After the ride there were bands playing as well as some good food so my family joined me and the kids danced a bit. It was a great way to spend a day and it was nice to know we were supporting a local charity while having a good time!”

Ride for a Reason!
The Sacramento Century Challenge starts and finishes on Capitol Mall in Sacramento and winds through the California Delta Wine Region. Sac Century offers several distance options with participants able to choose a 16 36 63 or 100 mile route. Each course is very flat and features rest stops that are stocked with food and water. There is also a non-rider option for folks who want to fundraise but are not able to participate in the ride. After the event is over there will be a celebratory festival featuring music food wine and beer.
