Primary Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive business growth and develop lasting client relationships. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring a seamless client onboarding process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to draft comprehensive sales proposals, and experience using HubSpot CRM to manage sales activities. A key part of this role will be working closely with internal teams to transition new clients smoothly, ensuring a seamless handoff from sales to project execution.
- Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage and track sales leads, opportunities, and pipeline activities.
- Identify and target new business opportunities in industries such as technology, healthcare, finance, education, and public sector entities.
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and client referrals.
- Conduct research on potential clients to understand their business challenges and present Capitol Tech Solutions’ services as solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
- Create and write comprehensive sales proposals and contracts tailored to client needs.
- Present CTS’s services and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing value and customized solutions.
- Manage the client onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition to the internal teams responsible for executing the projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure client needs and expectations are clearly communicated.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content and leverage social media for lead generation.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years in sales with a solid grasp of consultative and solution selling.
- 2 years handling medium to large projects bidding quotes (preferred).
- Proven experience in outside sales, ideally within tech consulting, digital services, or IT industries.
- Strong understanding of web development, data science, software development, and digital transformation services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft detailed sales proposals and contracts.
- Proven experience managing client onboarding to ensure a seamless transition to internal project teams.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho, can be advantageous.
Salary & Benefit:
- San Diego Position: salary of $65,000 plus commission, with the potential to make $150,000 a year.
